The UnFashion Show™ Comes to NYC

Assalamualaikum w rahmatullahi w barakatu!

ALMAZ Wearables is excited to join Faithfully Sustainable at the first ever Muslims for Climate Justice 2023 SUMMIT Conference in New York this fall. As part of our commitment to conscious consumerism, we will be bringing The UnFashion Show™ to New York! 

The UnFashion Show™ is a theatrical experience consisting of poetic and spoken word performances highlighting the harms of the current state of the fashion industry on both the people within the industry like the hidden garment workers and the environmental cost to us all.

This is a community event.

We are excited to have local NYC poets join the first rendition of our show.

We are still looking for volunteers who are passionate about conscious consumerism, ethical shopping, and sustainability to join the show in the following capacity:

• Poets 

• Stage/prop designers

• Stage makeup artists

Participants will receive complimentary attendance to the Muslims for Climate Justice 2023 SUMMIT Conference. To participate in the show, you must be present in NYC Saturday 9/9 from morning until night, exact venue is to TBD. Participants will need to arrange for their own transportation and stay if coming from out of town/state. Participants must agree to being photographed/recorded during the show.
